ABOUT MEGAN.

 

Megan Hallett is a women’s health nutritionist, nutritional therapist working and cookbook author, working remotely (worldwide). Megan has been working with women for around five years since graduating from The Institute of Integrated Nutrition. She attained her Nutritional Therapy Certification from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

Megan predominately specialises in women's hormone health, ranging from endocrine and reproductive conditions such as PCOS, Endometriosis and PMDD, to addressing the root cause of symptoms including acne, PMS, hair loss, low mood/ mood swings and fatigue. Megan also supports fertility, understanding your cycle and those who are pregnant.

Megan is a HUGE advocate for abundance over deprivation and believes that education is an important part of working with a health professional. You will able to implement the recommendations and changes ​into your life for the long term rather than just being told what to eat.

Megan's approach differs from client to client, however, one thing that remains consistent is that there will always be a deep dive into the root cause of your symptoms rather than just tackling the physical manifestations. We are so often handed medication or seek out alternatives that mask the outcomes of our hormonal imbalances instead of tackling the drivers head-on.

HOW MEGAN WORKS.

It is rare that you’ll find a woman without a form of hormonal imbalance in today’s world. High stress accompanied by unstable blood sugar and nutritional deficiencies can further drive imbalances and leave us feeling less than our best. This is where I come in. I have five years of experience working closely with women over a range of different health concerns. I will support you as you make the right, informed dietary and lifestyle changes. I will guide you through perimenopause, tackle the drivers of your PCOS, help to clear your skin, and re-establish a healthy cycle. STEP ONE: Book your complimentary consultation below. Lasting around 15-minutes over the phone (this is free), it is a chance for me to learn about you and run through a health history.

STEP TWO: The initial consultation takes place the following week or a couple of weeks later, lasting 1.5hrs, once you have kept a food diary and filled out the relevant forms.

STEP THREE: You receive your health plan. I go into real depth on recommendations and improvements, from nutrition to lifestyle adjustments. Every client is different so every protocol is different, but the sessions aim to give you all the tools you need to effectively balance your hormones and tackle the root cause of the imbalance. 

Whilst I really do believe that monthly calls see the best results, it really is up to you on how much you check in. Be it once a month or once every two months. A six-week follow-up session is always recommended at the very least.

  • Your session cost will always remain the same as your first. My pricing may vary over time due to on-going education and demand, but it will never change during the duration of our time together).

  • Please note, in the introductory call, you will not be given any specific recommendations, that is what the initial consultation and the 1-hour follow up sessions are for. It is best to see what a full week's worth of food looks like first as well as an in-depth conversation about your health history before the work begins. 

  • Remember, you are not just paying for the hours spent on the phone together! I spend a significant amount of time researching and creating your plan, along with answering emails and making any additional changes to your plan in-between sessions.

  • Additional Functional Testing

    Functional testing can be highly beneficial in understanding the root of your symptoms or condition. Whilst we can undoubtedly make progress in your case without testing, I do like to incorporate it into more complicated cases where possible. If booking with me and you want a specific test, please let me know. This doesn’t include basic blood testing, which we can request via your GP.
