It might be pretty clear by now that I’m a big believer in working proactively to balance hormones. In today’s world (with all the stress and toxins present in everyday life), it is very rare you’ll find a girl without hormonal imbalances or issues. Even if you don’t even know it yet, your body might be giving off help signals that something is not quite right. This could be anything from excess weight, excessive mood swings, bad skin and cystic acne, thinning or excess hair, low energy, anxiety or god awful PMS.
When I was diagnosed with PCOS, I was pretty pissed at the fact I was given NO information on how to treat it naturally, just handed pills to mask the symptoms. Today, I’ve managed to sooth my symptoms by nurturing my body through my diet and lifestyle changes such as stress management and opting for real, whole foods.
